Where AsterRail is headed

The rail is built, verified on-chain, and live on Stellar mainnet. Here’s what’s shipped, what we’re building now, and what comes next.

  1. The payment rail

    Shipped
    • Soroban escrow contract (Rust) — multi-deal, init / release / refund, unit-tested
    • Dual-token settlement in USDC and native XLM, with trustline onboarding
    • Invoice → order summary → paid receipt carrying the on-chain transaction hash
    • Wallet-signature security: signed, ownership-checked API; chain-verified receipts
    • Multi-wallet (Stellar Wallets Kit, Freighter-first) + wallet profile menu
    • Direct deal (escrow-as-a-link) and swipe-based discovery

  2. Product depth & polish

    In progress
    • Refined landing, whitepaper, roadmap and privacy pages
    • On-chain-anchored job posts and deal agreements (registry pattern)
    • In-app messaging with file sharing between matched parties
    • Rich-text descriptions and a friction-free skills editor
    • Progress pipeline so both sides always see the deal’s stage

  3. Trust, reputation & reach

    Planned
    • Milestone escrow: staged release per deliverable
    • Dispute resolution: deterministic timeouts + a staked arbiter that can only split
    • On-chain reputation, portable and tamper-proof
    • AI / embedding-based matching
    • “Invisible crypto” for Web2 freelancers: passkey wallets + anchor cash-out
    • Third-party security audit and a formal compliance review
